The thing that will always fascinate me about Colin was his spontaneous nature and constructive view of the world. He thought so far outside the box that it looked microscopic from where he was standing. He could fire off wacky ideas like a machine gun. And what astonishes me is that he accomplished all of this before he hit 20. I'm still subscribed to his channel to this day just to keep paying respect to him. He will forever belong in my heart for what he's done for me. May he rest in peace and may his legacy continue to thrive.

before colin, i had lost all hope in people; when i met him i was in horrid relationship with someone who was, in a subtle way, abusive towards me; they were really manipulative to me & would make me feel really guilty if i didnt do what they wanted. when me & colin got together (and the garbage that loser put me thru wouldn't make me feel awful anymore) i told him about all the things that loser had done to me & you know what happened? he cried. he cried because -I- went thru this. he told me after that he'd never lay a finger on me that i didnt want. before him, no one had ever told me that before & that really meant a lot to me. its little things like that that made me fall for him even more, even when he was stuck in a hospital bed for months

I hate how he was just one year older than me. I hate how all the good people is passing away recently. I hate cancer, as it is a disease that's taken already 6 people I care for IRL aside from awesome youtubers. But I love kitty's videos. I love the way he inspired the youtube community into Gmod. I love how he made me laugh each time I saw one of his vids. I love how he passed away happy and with the support of his friends and family instead of sad, alone an full of pain. "Even in death I still serve." - One of the Space Marines' combat machine from Dawn of War. I found it as the most fitting quote I could get, because of how true it is. Even though he left us, he still makes us laugh. The videos he made from then to now were made to make us happy and cheer us up, and they do up to this day. First we need to obviously get that emotional barrier to wear off, as it somehow blocks us from watching his videos... but after that, we should not be afraid. It's like visiting your dead uncle's grave who died just three months ago. You feel sad and you have loads of emotions on you, but you still come here. The memory of him is still fresh and it should be kept that way, put a candle on his grave and sit down for a bit - think of how you met, how you had so much fun, how he was part of your childhood. Same goes to Kitty, you goddamn bastard... why does everybody needs to *go* so quickly? Why won't they just live forever...

Three weeks later and I'm still hoping to wake up the next morning and be glad it was all just a dream. I never knew him personally, and he wasn't really that big of an influence to me-- not to the degree he was for others, anyway --but still, I can't count a single second during any of his videos that I didn't have the biggest grin on my face. That man was such an inspiration to me and I'm sure many others. It's insane the amount of talent and dedication he had to making silly Gmod videos at such a young age. ***** well I refer to the elves of the lotr. They're Immortal and have seen many people die naturally or through war or a broken heart. They were cursed by the Mair for trying to take something (I forgot what) to never die. Essentially could you live a life as you watch everyone you ever knew or loved such as family, friends and the like die as you live forever and never see them again than die with them and see them for all eternity? When I heard the news that Colin had passed away, I was absolutely devastated. He was one of my primary motivations in getting into Gmod animation; I always loved how he would put so much energy into his videos, like every single second always had something funny happening. I eventually got to talk to him, even became friends with him and not once did he ever complain about his circumstances in life. He was always moving forward, always wanting to share his ideas and experiences with others. I only wish that I could've talked to him more and got to know him better. As incredibly cheesy as this might sound, as long as he continues to live on in our memories Colin won't ever be truly dead. I will always remember him for being a crazy, fun and AWESOME guy that we all know and love. Rest in peace my friend... you've left us with unforgettable years of memories.

I’m late but I don’t care. Colin pretty much introduced me to steam and valve as a whole. He was one of the main reasons I got garrys mod. When I heard he died,I looked at my screen and I just said to myself,”Why?”. I was a young lad when I saw some of his videos,my favorite was moments with heavy:Heavy goes bowling. I just had a binge of all his videos the day he died. I just watched all of them. My thoughts go out to all the people featured here in this video. You all touched my life in many ways. I guess you could say I was also late to the funeral. Except I didn't know he was dead until years later. I just assumed he took a break or something. So for 4 straight years I patiently waited for a Deadman to come back to his channel. And when I found out he wasn't coming back, it hit me like a fucking bus going full speed. Kevin Elric I first met him from the "Elliot Goes to School" series. He was one of the funniest people I ever knew on KZbin at that time. Later on in life, I forgot him. Not completely of course. Cancer is very adaptable and it can do it very quickly. It will mutate to resist chemo treatments and spreads rapidly. This is why a cure hasn't been developed.
