I feel a connection with you Christian and so 😎🏁🌔 I will show you the very moment I knew we were truely artistically connected. I searched for the episode with no success. It is as though encroaching forces are seeking to get me to endorse their hidden agendas. The moment I knew we were similar in thought was when you did a Speedy Portrait of Amir Khan and GIFTED it to him, just as swiftly as he would throw a jab to win a boxing match. That impulsive gesture of kindness, is something I have done before (although, I am no where near your level in talent). It has everything to do with the LOVE you emit straight from your heart. I knew your intention, the moment you made your first brushstroke, for what is art, if not shared with others. You who hail from the rock of Gibraltar, have a great commonality with us good folks from a place nicknamed JamRock. My last name calls me crazy every day, whilst your last name holds some SINister historical undertones. One things for sure, is that your first name, is truly revealed in you and or your art. Christian - I too am fascinated by the "science" in colour and form - in essence, how things emerge out of nothing and remain coherent then become unable to hold that coherence and burst into something else- from the Langmuir waves in electromagnetic fields where saturation builds as points of light... the frequency of vibration creating forms... to get this onto canvas is extraordinary. If you ever have the chance, look at a book by the late biologist Mae Won Ho called The Rainbow and the Worm where she and colleagues did groundbreaking work studying the effects of light on developing larvae... what they saw was an incredible show of changing colours in the larvae, and not just the "primary" colours of the rainbow but a whole array of others too.
