One couple having a conversation, you think "man, this is going on a while" then they walk into another room and the focus switches to another couple. You think the first couple will be the victims instead, but nope the second couple hand it over to another one. On and on for the whole episode.

I'll bet it went something like this Guy's in a marriage that's getting boring/falling apart, guy meets attractive younger woman, guy divorces wife, guy runs off with attractive younger woman, attractive younger woman takes guy for all he's worth, guy goes crawling back to ex-wife, guy finds out ex-wife has moved on, guy gets drunk/high and crawls into a gutter wondering where things went wrong. Guy is found the following morning........by a guy thinking of leaving his wife for an attractive younger woman!

Main story ends with bro being found guilty. Though through underlying context of the whole case, it's possible he might not have done it. Bro's life story is a result of dad's very overbearing tendency to make him out to be the family f**** up. The type where everything he does is never enough. In the end, bro became the scapegoat for every family failure. Bro that died always helped him. Even to the end it seems but the evidence was overwhelmingly against him and unless they find further evidence, he'll remain locked up for the duration of his sentence.
