Every couple years we look back and realize we were living compLETELY different life all together. For now, take advantage of what you can. Unfortunate and cutthroat as it is, this is a great way to get a scholarship. A compelling event to write an essay about. People will stop to listen because of its grim nature. This is the odd and frankly unfortunate reality of middle class life in our modern society. What I’m saying is: Be great full for all the extra empathy thrown at you. I had a jewish fifth grade teacher who taught us about hanukah, but also taught us about the deforestation Christmas causes. And that's why in fifth grade i wanted to celebrate hanukah and my catholic family got really frusterated XD

Mabon I didn't know either. We in Finland don't leave him anything, so I thought it was weird when in The Sims you needed to buy cookies and a fireplace to get Santa to come. Here he just comes from the door and delivers the presents in person, so you can give him cookies then if you want.
