In this episode I set the solar batteries in place, fix a hole that bugs me, and we construct the first of several mini Trombe pillar sections.
Folks have asked, so, the price of everything we are doing is about $7000.
The most expensive components were the batteries and the polycarbonate panels. The price of wood has come down to only double what it was before the pandemic.

Thanks I'm enjoying following this! What's the difference between the trombe wall and solar battery bank. I understand they are a thermal mass to even out the temperature difference of night and day.

My mistake if I squished them together. Solar Batteries are for storing energy from the solar panels (not yet installed) to run lights and heat in the winter. The Trombe wall is a Thermal Mass used for passive heating and cooling. Thank you for watching. Much more to follow, every Sunday, maybe more.
