You need to build a chain curtain for the mower to help keep rocks from shooting out from under the mower. 50:15
@michaelfischer754710 ай бұрын
When you rebuild the bush hog, replace the metal bars that go from the top of the three point hook up to the back of the bush hog with heavy chain. This will allow you to set the height of the front of the bush hog and allow the rear to float over the terrain while still being able to fully lift it when needed. It will also prevent stress fractures/bending and give you a better cut without digging in.

Nice little tractor and bushhog. I grew up on a farm around tractors, and Bushog since I was a child I can tell you one thing if I had been in the field when my dad was Bushhogging, I would’ve been able to sit down for a week they are beyond a doubt the most dangerous thing on the farm they can sling something out for over 100 yards so please be careful

First, if it's a standard trasmission, put the hi/lo in lo, and the main tranny in 1st, then just rock the tractor back and forth with the rear tires. Popped a few engines free that way. Second, check and see iffin a small Honda rad will fit, seen that on a MF 1020 rebuild.

Is Hinomoto related to Hino Trucks? I think Hino = Toyota. Looking at that proofmeter and glowplug indicator (and a few other things) looks identical to my 1978 Ford 1600 (rebadged Shibaura). Interesting find.
@jasonnoteboom448910 ай бұрын
I’m still watching, but, the more things I see on it, the more similarities I see with my Ford/Shibaura. Mines a two cylinder as well, I think 1.3L, 3 sp + reverse (center shifter), low/medium/high range (right hand shifter), and PTO (left hand shifter). It’s a real bitch to purge the injectors (don’t run outta fuel).
@jasonnoteboom448910 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, sounds just like mine. Cool. If it’s another version of the Ford/Shibaura, it’s a pretty tough little unit. Nice.
