Sadly i think thats one of the issues right now. Not just with this game but other Early access Games. Dont listen what others say. Always try it for yourself. Just because someone else dont like it dont means it´s the same with you :)At least how i handle it. i check it out myself and if i dont like, fine i give it back or more time

Just a tip when you get iron tools save them for just plants/ minerals that require it. I carry an iron set and a stone set

There's nothing wrong with the game. It has something unique going for it. But the storage issue has ground my game play to a halt right now. There's just too many materials and not enough storage. The situation is so bad I cannot progress because I have no way of swapping things around. Plus things just doesn't stack well. You can hold 50 of something but only 5 of something else. It is so arbitrary. And given that the functionality of the game demands a lot of different materials, such as what you feed creatures so you can grow your bioms, means you're slowly running out of space. I came to the point after playing it since release, I can't go on anymore. I'm just wasting so much time throwing stuff away hoping I won't need it soon, just to find out that I do need some of it. Mechanically things work, but I don't think I've played an open world crafting game were I ended up playing storage wars from day one.

I couldn’t ID the flying critters on the PS5. You can’t hold it in the sights long enough. It also seems to take a lot longer to ID than you seem to on PC. You’re about where I am tho I don’t have a mount yet. That’s next on my list. I will set up a mine at the original island & see what that brings. I’m enjoying the game a lot though it does have some issues. There’s a patch due out which helps.

Game needs a lot of work. I hate the clunky combat system that requires you to stand still or the fact you cannot re-map keys. Comes over as a very bad console port.
