Those coffee settings have to be adjusted. Turn machine off and next time you want a large hold the button down until it fills your cup to where you want it. From that point on should be set.

Regarding the Nespresso machine, I believe you can buy pods called Longo which produce a larger amount of coffee, pressing the button twice will just burn the coffee, but I’m sure the new machine will be less frustrating 😂
