A FULL DAY of Trains on the CSX River Line!! (First Railfan Vlog)

6/2/21:
On June 2nd I took the entire day to railfan along the CSX River Line. I vlogged most of the day and caught 14 trains. There were plenty of interesting movements as well, including C711 switching with a Geep, K649 with a UP trailing, and K615 with a CN Duo. I also tried out a few new shots that I had been wanting for a while. Overall, it was a great day to be trackside in the Hudson Valley!

Nice video! And you caught something on the Newburgh Industrial too. C711-02 was switching for Rays Transportation. I have a few videos just South of this location where they turn the engine around to head back to the Main Line long nose forward using a short siding at Vails Gate, NY. Ciao

very full day, I was surprised at the beginning that CSX was running the short intermodal trains with three engines for a couple dozen car’s, I suppose they needed the power to run more cars traveling in the reverse round trip?
