I was dragging my thesis for years. Being quite old for a PhD candidate writing it it's not easy, but probably it shouldn't be. After Covid I almost gave up. Now I'm gathering strength to finish it and your videos are helping me with that. Thank you.

I feel that. I’m not in graduate school yet but I’ve been doing research with some mentors from an reu on and off for 2 years and towards the end of our first paper I really started to drag my feet on finishing it. It got so bad one of my mentors thought I had lost interest in the research and they thought they might have to get someone else to present my research at a conference because I was really bad about checking my email. I felt especially bad because I was made first author for the paper and I felt like I didn’t deserve it because I wasn’t very involved with the final stages of getting it published. Now we are working on a second paper and I’m trying really hard to make up for it and go above and beyond with the second paper.

I'm a kid from Mumbai, and I had the privilege to visit Harvard back in 2019 during my US tour. The fact that I have walked on the campus, photographed every moment, visited The Coop and bought a tshirt, a Harvard Teddy bear, and a Harvard 6 subject notebook which I still us till date, sparingly. I realised the value of this once in a lifetime, precious visit only now. Quantum Boy, I really appreciate your work, and look up to your routine and discipline, which I'm sure was achieved after burning the midnight oil. Love and respect from Mumbai, India 🇮🇳♥️

You've such a strong willpower and you can't imagine how much I admire you even by watching these videos which are only a couple of minutes. BUT, it is not ok to nearly pass out or almost throw up. You may exercise to become stronger but firsly it should be for your health. You are not a machine, listen to your body, don't be so harsh on yourself. If you're looking for healthy, cheap, easy to make and long lasting meals, I suggest you try making hummus yourself. Hummus is a chickpea sesame mixture from the levant and it is eaten with bread and olive oil. Making a pot can be done in 15 minutes with 3 cans of chickpeas and it should last for four days. It tastes really good and in combination with some extra portein makes for a great dinner.

Your regimentation reminds me of....me. i was highly inflexible throughout my medical career, trauma surgery having lots of variables, which i took on as personal challenges. THEN I had a son and regimentation went out the window. I changed who i was by the simple act of......changing diapers. Its good to be humbled, especially if one is considered brilliant. My colleagues told me i was a better friend after I took care of something as mundane as changing diapers. Who woulda thunk it😅
