The hate comes from the fact that every noticeable KZbin golf character is pretty spot on and realistic with their talent level and skill with golf. Riggs is alone on the other side of the fence with stating multiple times he’s a 3.5-4 handicap. He simply is not.

I love how he plays his own swing and plays the game that way he wants too... Hole 2 with a Driver is a tough shot and a 2 iron was the right play... I love this course so much.... I need to work on my mental game side and minimizing the risk... When i mess up I end up carrying negative thoughts for a few holes.

When I watch Riggs play scrambles I don't think he's very impressive. I would honestly guess he would be a high 80's low 90's player just from watching the scrambles. But when he plays his own ball like this it really shows that he's a decent golfer especially if he's been hitting in the 70's. Definitely a fun watch and would love to see more from Riggs!

So many people who don't actually keep or manage a real competition handicap calling Riggs out. The fact is 83 is solid and an average round of a mid/high single digit player. I've played club championship rounds with guys off 4/5 many times (I am off 9) and 83 I would say is likely the average 'not great' score for one of them. Golf is hard, 83 is good and reflective of the fact the man is likely mid/high single digits. Few putts drop he breaks 80.

83 is better than solid for a 9-11 HCP it is a low round and likely in their top 8 that contributes to their HCP. Handicap is not 'average score' handicap is average of your best 8 scores. I am off 9 and out of my best 8 only two are under 80. 83 is a good round for a guy off mid to high single figures.@@zackbarkalow4929

To be a 4 handicap you need some scores that are pretty close to par. Where exactly have you seen in the 5 years of Foreplay existence in course vlogs, travel series rounds, or even swings he’s taken in Foreplay 4 man scrambles have you seen Riggs even come close to taking it low and scoring around par or just a couple strokes above? Scoring consistently 81 or just posting this 83 is AGAIN no sign of a 4 handicap.
