Excellent vid. I think I might try. I’ve just mastered 28mm painting, with my mouth. It was hard getting a gig together, so I could change the angles. But I’m pretty much stuck in bed & want to scale down my figures, so my mates can play while i’m in bed…Thanks for the inspiration.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I bought army painter fast paint for Union line regt.’s but every one on utube seems to mix manufacturers and fast pain with solid colours. I enjoyed this video because I could hear properly. (I’m very hard of hearing so I mis tones at the extreme ends of the range, both high and low. Also speed of speech makes me mis words) nice painting🙂

I wish they made some w/ Kepis for use as the 14th Brooklyn.

I have seen people trim the other hats to make them look like Kepis. It does seem to work at this scale :)

Excellent looking models. Love the colors. The basing really brings it all together. What material are you using for your table? Is that some sort of Astro turf!
@wargamesandpainting Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the wonderful feedback. I really do appreciate it. That table cover is a grass mat that Games Workshop used to sell many years ago. It still looks great on the table :)

Great job on the figures! Thanks for a very helpful tutorial. I’m about to start on Epic Pike & Shot, but as a 28mm painter am looking for other techniques to suit this smaller scale. Have just subbed.

Thanks for the great feedback. I’m very tempted by the Epic Pike and Shot range 😁

Really wish they had some different styles of Zouave’s. I think the vast majority didn’t wear these styles
@wargamesandpainting Жыл бұрын
Yes, it would be great if the styles were a little varied. I have painted some of the regular troops in green to represent an the Irish and Clinch Rifles regiments. Thanks for your comment and support for the channel :)

@@wargamesandpainting I see Warlord Games have just given a heavy hint that the next Epic battle box will be revealed shortly - so with the numbers of pic in front of me, these fast paint guides are very valuable. Thanks.

Carl is correct, you were given 3-5 days rations and it was a lot of hardtack and beans which took up a lot of space. You barely had room for the food let alone personal items or cleaning items. In fact, there are quite a few videos online showing exactly how they packed their haversacks back then.
