A Fun Date Day At Magic Kingdom! | Bacon On A Stick, Spring Roll Test & Jungle Cruise!

In today's video we head to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World to have a little fun! We had no plans for this cold and cloudy day and they turned out perfect! Jenn got to try the new flavor of Spring roll in Adventureland, Philly Cheese Steak and we found that the cheeseburger spring roll is no longer the same glorious flavor it once was. We also had a chance to ride Jungle Cruise with a fantastic Skipper who made the ride amazing! After that we headed over to Westward Ho to try out the all new Candied Bacon on a Stick. Let me tell you something, that bacon was delicious! Then it was time for our dinner reservations at Skipper Canteen a table service restaurant based off of the Jungle Cruise. We had an interesting experience there. My steak was delicious, but the item that Jenn ordered seemed as if it wasn't cooked. Even though we had a bit of a hiccup at Skipper Canteen we still had an excellent day at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom! Join us tomorrow for another new video!

Jenn, look into a hot paraffin dip at a local spa. It’s usually inexpensive but they dip ur hands, wrap them and put heated mittens on them and leave u for about 30 min. They will do ur feet too. It helps when ur hands hurt and is cost effective enough to do more than once a week. Makes ur skin super soft too.

I sometimes order apps as an entree so regardless of what you order it should be cooked right. If Disney could fix anything its usually the service/food in restaurants. I get your paying for the ambiance and the fact that your in the park mostly but it should be worth it in the end, quality of the food included.

I was getting really bad, really painful carpal tunnel inflammation that was making using my right hand almost impossible (I had to give up knitting!). On the advice of a friend, I bought a vertical mouse to use at work and OMG has it made a huge difference!!! I have been using it for 2 months now and the constant pain is gone, and I am starting to work up the muscle strength and stamina back up to where it used to be. It was such a small change in wrist posture for such a dramatic difference, so really look at your editing set-up and see if there is something you can do to make it more ergonomic and reduce the pressure on your wrist and fingers. ♥♥♥♥

Thank you for stopping by the pressed penny machines. When my husband and I first started dating we were poor college students and started collecting these as inexpensive souvenirs to vacations we would take or even the Ohio turnpike. 25 years later we have five double penny books of everywhere we have traveled. My Disney tip is bring a roll of quarters and a shiny penny roll (we get ours from the bank) to hit the machines at the parks. It can get hectic trying to get exact change for the machines, running back and forth. Love the vlogs Tim & Jen. ❤️

Hey Jenn! I am a video editor as well so I know what you are saying. It definitely has been a task to figure out how to balance health and speed. Some things that have helped me since I am on the computer most of the day doing the same thing is get one of those foam wrist pads that sit below your mouse as you edit. It really has helped me ergonomically keeping my wrist and hands in a better position. I also use a low profile keyboard, one that is as close to the desk as possible. That helps on the strain and angle I type. Another thing that I constantly do is squeeze a stress ball from time to time. If I am in the thick of it, I will take a few seconds to squeeze it on each hand. It usually helps the bloodflow and keeps my hands from cramping up! Those things work for me, so hopefully it will help you out too! :)

I have carpal tunnel syndrome from playing the drums almost my whole life but I still love playing. I know how Jen feels... Jenn, just wanted to throw out a suggestion - I do a lot of writing and editing on the computer and I have trigger finger in a few of my fingers. Which is like carpal tunnel in the fingers. Sometimes an ergonomic keyboard and mouse can help! I'm not a doctor (I just play one on the internet) ;) but I thought it might be something for you to look into.

Glucosamine tablets! I have had trouble with my joints for so long but i started adding in glucosamine to my regular vitamin intake and a month in I haven't had any significant pain or flare ups despite the cold weather! Usually I would be relying on painkillers and hot baths this time of year but it's been so much better.

If that doesn't work, depending on what you use for your video editing, you could switch over to using something like a Wacom tablet for your video editing, then you can edit directly on the screen. You could switch to using a tablet laptop, but most likely, that won't have the processing power for you.

@@mv1420 I use that as well. Compression/sling glove, whatever you want to call it. You only need one to use the mouse, which is where the main issue is. The keyboard isn't really an issue, so reason to make it clunkier to type.
