My family and I got the DVC stuff and our home resort is the Rivera. We stayed there last year, it was so amazing. We could ride the skyliner to the parks and the buses, we didn’t have to drive to any park at all which was very nice. And we could see the Epcot fireworks from our room. Such an amazing resort.

LONG time fan! @Tim - I must apologize for my husband's enthusiasm when you walked by. I was checking in to see if there was seating available in the lounge and he knows what a fan I am. He did his best to get both mine and your attention so I can look over and say "Oh! How are you?!" We are parents to three boys (all in college now) from Michigan and enjoy the content you guys make! PS We also ordered the Gnocchi and Escargot, but the highlight of our night was seeing you guys :)

Nice review! We stayed at Riviera in early December and actually had the same table that you had at Topolino’s! We really enjoyed the close access to the Skyliner to both Epcot and DHS. Word to the wise, however, if you’re staying for the Epcot fireworks be close to the International Gateway and don’t delay to the Skyliner. Otherwise you’ll face long lines for those who park-hopped from DHS for the fireworks. It’s all one line so very few are Riviera guests. We learned the hard way. It’s a nice resort but you can see the cost-cutting emblematic of the Chopik regime. The lobby is pretty meh, and not much in other amenities but the villas are top-notch and Topolino’s is a top-tier addition to Disney dining.

EPI is the baguette … This pull apart bread was made to mimic the appearance of the wheat stalk or “epi” in French. The baguette is cut with scissors into ‘teardrops’ before baking. You can see the baguette tears in the plate.

We had a “big sister” day with our daughter right before our son was born and she still remembers this 11 years ago now. So special! After toenail is born you should do “special buddy time” when the baby goes to bed. My daughter again says she feels that was her happiness moments with our son being born!

I did the same for my oldest son, with the special time for after the baby went to bed. I'd dedicate at least 30min each night to unwinding with him, even before he had to take his bath (he was 3 1/2 at the time), and just like your daughter, my son loved that special time and remembers it - he's 14 now! They fight like brothers are supposed to, but neither believes they're more loved than the other... no jealousy (too much)... I tell them they frustrate me equally, haha.

We loved Topolinos!! We had dinner there a few DW visits ago! So good!! And kid friendly for how "fancy" it is! Breakfast with characters is a little more kiddo geared I'm sure! Riviera is a Beautiful resort! Skyliner is amazing! We stay at Caribbean Beach because... we can't afford Riviera ...haha! We saw Epcot fireworks from up in Topolinos and on the skyliner back to CBR ! Very cool view! Could you see fireworks from your room? I would have thought you could?! So happy you got a family trip in before the new baby arrives!! Jackson is so smart and always exploring! Hope he gets to play Chess ! 😂 & Tim was able to to Tron!
