A Fun-Filled Day Exploring Rottnest Island | Raphael’s World
Hey guys!
What is up?! I’m currently on school holidays, and we’ve made our way to the stunning Perth, Western Australia. There’s so much to do and see here, but today was all about Rottnest Island 🏝️-and let me tell you, it was amazing!
We hopped on a ferry ⛴️ for the 1.5-hour trip to the island, and it was worth every second. Once we arrived, we headed straight to Pedal and Flipper Hire to grab some bikes. The weather was absolutely perfect-28 degrees, not too hot, not too cold!
Although we didn’t make it around the full 22km loop of the island, we managed a solid 14km ride with plenty of fun stops along the way. We checked out breathtaking bays, snapped photos with the cutest little quokkas (they’re even cuter in person!), and had an incredible lunch at Sunsets Bar & Dining-highly recommend stopping there!
One highlight of the day was swimming at Fays Bay, which we’re pretty sure is the most beautiful and picturesque spot on the island. Crystal-clear water, white sand, and pure paradise!
After an action-packed day, we hopped back on the 5pm ferry to Perth. But next time? We’re definitely staying overnight on the island to soak it all in.
