Are we headed towards a doom scenario? What are the scenarios for the Near East in the foreseeable future? Tension in the Middle East is mounting again, as political decisions in both the United States and Iran are now being taken by neoconservatives. 'Both places have idiots in charge', states colonel Lawrence Wilkerson. And the weapon of mass destruction scenario has been dug up again, this time for Iran.
Plans of attack are being made and pre-emptive strikes are being considered. Backlight presents an ominous future view on the Middle East, the Place of Judgment.
Backlight spoke to: Martin van Creveld (Israeli military historian), Tony Judt (British historian), Brigitte Gabriel (Christian Lebanese emigre), Lawrence Wilkerson (former chief of staff to Colin Powell), Etgar Keret (Israeli writer), Anoush Ehteshami (British-Iranian political scientist) and Richard Perle (American neoconservative).

While American citizens are getting more and more pressured, can' afford even a home and food, and US boys and girls are dieing for some unclear agenda, US is still giving more than 6 BIL. ( it's NOT 3 bil. ) every year to israel. While your taxes are high, you work 2-3 jobs so you can provide food and shelter for your kids, the jews in israel are living on your hard work while AXIS countries are paying reparations every year to the jews, but again others have fought and died in WW2.

I swear Ahmadinejad ONLY expressed that, one day, Israel will not exist. Not that he would destroy it or any of that...and you should see his interview with Peter Jennings, he's well spoken--That means little.
