you can use iseria on abyss+ raid and guild war for dark corvus. with out her, nightmare raid can be really difficult.

But nightmare raids are late game stuff and then you have most characters in game and can easly get her from story summon, abyss until 100 is free so no need for her, destina have higher value in early pve and is strong in pvp

E7 is worth it. It's the best f2p friendly gacha I've ever played. It's far from perfect, but I'm four years in, and not likely to quit any time soon. The game is truly beautiful.

@@aquaticobliterator7230 you can. i started a month ago following a youtuber's(Deity) beginners guide and its going pretty well. cleared what's needed to be cleared at week 2. the only disadvantage is you cant play pvp with your limited number of units. but guild system makes it fun.

Guild content and interacting with players is great. I would say its FAR easier to get into now than in the past years because of all the quality of life changes based on old videos ive seen

@aquaticobliterator7230 with the amount of free stuff, and how generous the game is in general, it won't be hard to get going and be able to enjoy all the pve content, and start building up your pvp arsenal. If you look around YT, you'll find content creators that start new accounts to make them RTA ready in a couple months. You might not make legend, but you could easily earn the RTA skin each season.

As a veteran player, this game never feels like there is nothing to do, there are always new side stories, smilegate constantly introduces new stuff and there is always guild wars which are a lot of fun, and RTA

I've noticed a lot of people saying "it's hard to play pvp as a new player, especially f2p", while it is true that it is difficult, in just a year of playing I managed to get Legend (highest rank in arena) in a year, and I wasn't using any meta units, completely f2p. My advice is just enjoy and find the characters you like and don't be pressured into pvp because your rank will increase along with your account growth. With the amount of good free gear they give out and PvE boss nerfs they do, it would be impossible not to progress instead.

This is BS. Moonlight heros don't come for free. Moonlight are the best units not those free five stars you are talking about. I've spent so much money on $99 bundles and never getting anything in return. I've never played a single gatcha game but this one that hasn't given me what I wanted for 20 bucks. This game will rob you over and over again. Don't do it. You are just going to want Moonlight characters the entire time.

It's only worth it if you play it casually, with a relaxed mindset of really not caring about PvP. It's great for the animations and a decent PvE. If you try to get on the competitive side of it, or trying to build many strong units, you are in for a lot of headaches. That is, of course, unless you are a major whale or get incredibly lucky. The gear grind is stupidly bad, requires a lot of luck and is very limiting. Sure, people will point out "it's gotten better", but that doesn't mean it's good. Every system they add to make the gear grind better they do it in ways that the difference is almost negligible. Also a lot of E7 fanatics are pretty much deep into the gambler's fallacy when they try to defend it. But yeah, playing most PvE content can be done with just decent gear. The gear grind is so bad it's the main reason people quit E7, yet they barely improve on it. Art and animation are really the reason E7 is still alive. Else people would have left it for other games like Artery Gear or Outerplane already.

Match making is OK, is actually balanced, every one gets down to 0 points and fight their way to the top, that means that YES in low tiers your WILL face high level veterans, but that is because they haven't play enough that season. This is the CORRECT match making for any game: you are gold? you play gold players. Is the same as all ranked games. I enjoy casually getting dragged in the mud by a legendary player while they are climbing up the ladder, i was a step they had to climb, you feel me?

PVP in e7 is a hell but Somehow give you easy skystone enough for next banner, another things this game fairly has way more usable character even in lowest rarity for both pvp and pve, even ras is way more usable than any starter character in a similar game I've played

Honestly the best advice I could give as a veteran is to not be competitive in this game and not aim to be the very best. For me, I just have fun when I can with the story, play on my own pace and build the heroes that I like. PvP for me is just Arena and Guild Wars which is Ai-Controlled PvP. I rarely touch Real-Time Arena. I only do it if the free skin is good. Banners in this game is pretty standard although abyssmal rates but the good thing is that if you can be efficient with your summoning, if you're lucky, you can actually get all the banner characters before the next set drops or if you're unlucky like most players can pity 1 banner every month with no 50/50 bullsh*t like some other recent popular turned-based gacha game *cough* .

For gatcha very generous for f2p. As any 5* unit you pull in banner must be that banner unit and not random. And they are generous enough for resource gathering in game. Gearing unit is hell lvl since too random and getting 1 good gear will take lot of grinding. Story and side is relatice easy. Abyss is challenging, and pvp is where you lost your mind.

This was a really entertaining but kind of inaccurate review. No disrespect but the fact is that the majority of players do NOT participate in PvP (other than maybe guild war which is only 3 times per week) and you can easily spend 100% of your game time playing PVE. The game is designed to allow some mode of unlimited PvE and PvP play, whichever you prefer. It's pretty easy to test this out too. Right now you can hop into the side story for the current limited character (Midnight Gala Lilias in this case) and then read the story and play the side game associated with that story all day if you want, without any gear or energy limits. I'd give it a try if you like the art style, collecting characters (because they've engineered it so you can ultimately get most if not all of the characters you want) and enjoy story lines. most funny thing in e7 is rta pvp, which became kinda bad because of powercreep that smilegates have been doing lately. You could play this game for month or so, but you'll drop it eventually. As a five year player I don't recommend taking this game seriously, you'll regret it.

It's super duper worth it. Best ever gacha I've played. It has a perfect mix of PvE and PvP, tho the story leaves a lot to be desired. The PvP is surprisingly balanced, with 3% and 15% adding some unpredictability to matches. It even has a whole-ass music player in game lol 😳

Story's fairly standard "Slay the Demon Lord" quest stuff, but I spent the entire story just wondering how Ras got royally clapped (rip in pepperonis Diene) 6 times in a row despite knowing that the Demon Lord's way too strong, yet never found a way to get more powerful before the seventh run. They definitely had some filling-in to do there 🤣

As a 3 year E7 veteran, watching the story summarized was hilarious. QOL is way better than before. I only spent $6 and I have almost all meta ML units. You just have to be lucky. If you don't like endgame PVP, there's Abyss as PVE content. Destina or Vildred should be your 1st 5 star unit. Then get Tamarinne in selector summon. Farming hunts is life. I just wanna say that Nahkwol is OP(PVP) and she is hot.

I actually forgot to include Destina (cause I was in a bit of a rush to fix the video when I got a lot of backlash at initial release for some really outdated recommendations I made from a guide I found that turned out to be 2 to 3 years behind. I probably won't add recommendations into a review and let the veteran players make the call in future lmao). The pain of the starter rolls though. Glad I fixed it with a safe bet like Iseria, and I've had different answers ranging from Iseria + Tamarinne, to Destina or Vildred. All sounds great until the Iseria fans on Reddit tell you that Vildred sucks and has no utility and everyone starts arguing about Iseria Vs Destina 🤣

The guild part of epic seven is honestly the best part for me if you want to interact with other players plus it has contents for the guild like ancient inheritence and guild war, you can also ask them for tips and train you if you want to know more about pvp or engage RTA, the true endgame content of epic seven. It's quite amazing how you can interact with other players in this game and fight against them in mock battles. Plus you can now share your builds too in the chat.

This game is equipment gacha more than characters, you can get all the characters free overtime, equipment however is super rng and the most rewarding part of the game, crafting the perfect peice is half reward, rolling perfect stats is the 2nd half and the most brutal 😢 but e7 is completely f2p ❤

IMO as a late player, it's not really the greatest game as later on you'll realize that your characters will later on get power crept or just "buffed" and totally removed from the game like Yufine was. I loved this game back in 2020 but now in 2023 I finally called it quits until they made some changes like promotion systems and farming penguins back. I have been a lot from Epic 7 and this is the lowest it has been. Feel free to question me but trust me you'll realize that PvE content is not easy and whales can only do it like Episode 4 Chapter 10-10 (which I can't get past). I have so many memories with this game but it's all ruined when this game which is so focused on PvP and they "buff" characters for no reason. So, if any of you are saying it's a perfect game or it's very good I'm going to think ur an early starter because it will change later at Episode 3 and 4. >_

Epic7 . Yeah the very game in which i just grind until i got to Challenger/Champion rank in normal arena. After that just login for atleast 5mins every single damn day and wait for my retirement benefits every Monday. Then I just wait for devs to release new waifus and glorify them in my lobby without even building them, yup that's me. If you love collecting waifus and dont care about pvp like me then Epic7 is the best for you. Dont worry about getting to Challenger rank, its pretty easy because the game gives so much free gears to new players.
