Bro don't regret for watching the series first and then reading the books. I am too a potterhead i saw all the movies atleast 4 times. After it i bought the books and then started reading them. When I was reading i was able to visualise the scene in the book even though that was not taken in movies. So it gave me a good feel.

I got this boxset for Christmas a while back (thanks dad), and while I adore it, I also agree that the box is a bit difficult to get the books out of and put them back in. I just don't want to hurt either the book or the box, you know?

Bro I want to suggest one thing, buy the book "The world of ice and fire" it basically gives a comprehensive history of everything that happens in the 5 published volumes of "A song of Ice and fire" but also the history from 12000 BC(Before Coronation). How the first men came, who were the children of forest, also key events that happened in Essos. Thus also consisting the story of "House of the dragon series". Also the series followed the story in the books uptill the 3rd installment "A Storm of Swords" after that the story in series started becoming a clusterduck due to major changes in the story and cutting or joining of plot points. So my take is watch the series, it's good, but books are way better and also read the side novellas if u get time, they are "A Knight of the seven kingdoms", upon which a series is going to come, and "Fire and Blood" upon which the series "House of the dragon" is based. Also 2 books are yet to be released (which might never get released) which are "The Winds of Winter" and "A Dream of Springs"
