Hi Trent. Thanks for the video! Always wanted to see a comparison between this horn, and a regular rotary trumpet. Is there any difference in the sound and tone? Could throw the Raven in there as well. Why does anyone get a regular rotary over this other than if you took this to orchestra they'd give you a funny look? Also, this horn doesn't have the keys for the different notes that many rotary trumpets have. Do you know why traditional rotaries often have those keys and this one does not? Could you add keys to this horn (pretty sure you can't...)?

Have always admired Schagerl's TART Dizzy horn, as well as Thomas's great playing. Congrats on the acquisition and the fix.

When the Before TImes become the After Times, my bucket list includes two stops in the Midwest: Tom Day's trumpet/bugling museum in Berwyn IL, and your shop, with the Ganschhorn tops on the list right after introducing myself to you. Thanks for this video.

Hey Trent. I have had one of these horns since about October and I love it. But, I never realized until now that the third slide trigger was actually adjustable. Cool. You learn something new every day! Also, I can definitely confirm the water collection issue. I also get a fair amount in the second slide - which is a bit harder to get rid of. Unlike my other rotary horns, I can't seem to get rid of the water by simply removing the mouthpiece and tuning it upside down (like a French horn).

Yeah that's a good way to get the water out. That trigger mechanism is great, isn't it?

Ha! Does its permanent shop demo status let you waive the one in - one out Trent personal collection rule?

Thankful that I have sold 4 of my own collection horns recently so this helped make this decision a bit easier.

Your loss is our gain. I have been wanting a chance to get close to one of these, which looks like the greatest friend of an overbite ever to grace the trumpeting world. :-)
