I recently bought a conn connstelation long cornet off you, nothing but the best of quality! I have In my collection several instruments from the late 1800s to early 1900s. They include a peashooter trumpet, and two cornets.

The finish reminds me of the old LeBlanc Al Hirt trumpet line in their gold lacquer finish. I had one in the late 60s and early 70s but mine was silver plated. Carbon fiber has interesting properties but I would not have guessed it would be used in a brass instrument BTW Trent you could make a pvc trumpet sound great! 😉

I know this is a weird place for questions like this but I’ve been playing trumpet for a while now. Over the past few years I’ve really started trying to improve. I’ve started taking lessons recently. I’m planning on turning it into a career. I was just wondering if you had any tips to reduce mouthpiece pressure. I can hit an B above the staff semi reliably, and I can hit C inconsistently but playing above the staff feels too restrictive because of my pressure.

Thanks for your comment. It actually has 4 rotary valves and the fifth lever is for tuning (third valve slide tuning trigger).
