I think some plants like sunflowers do not want fertilizer. They might get bigger if you negect them a little more. This is a problem I am having, I need to separate plants that want a lot of fertlizer from those that do not. my sedum was doing really well until I fertized the aliums next to it. Aliums need a lot of fertilizer. Sedum, sunflowers, cosmos and I think coneflowers do not need so much.

Yes. You're right. Some plants, like the ones you mentioned, won't do well with fertilizer. Love those plants that don't need fertilizer and thrive without it!😊

Her garden and landscaping is amazing!!! My favorite plant is the verbena but around this time of year they get attacked by spider mites. i try to pretreat everything with insect soap but they still attack. i want to stay away from chemical treatment because i have pets that like to snack on it. Great video
