a gentle tour of the Thomas Dambo exhibition - TROLLS: Save the Humans at Cheekwood, Nashville TN

i got the opportunity to see the Thomas Dambo exhbition, called TROLLS: Save the Humans at Cheekwood in Nashville Tennessee. This exhibition was one of the most beautiful shows i have ever seen! The byzantine Troll sculptures are meticulously installed in natural environments, making the experience impressively immersive, and it’s just so cute/thought provoking, with dark tendrils woven in.
I am a huge fan of Thomas' work, and the sentiments and intentions of these sculptures really made me think deeper about my environmental, and spiritual impact on the planet we all share. So many emotions, and so much curiosity. The Trolls unlocked something in me that i often overlook, and that is wonderment!
i can't say enough how much i loved this experience, and i am planning on going back before the exhibition closes on September 1st! Cheekwood, and it's estate and gardens is also an amazingly fun place to visit, and a great opportunity to explore the flora and fauna of Nashville. I always end up spending all day there, and leaving a changed person.
