The air raid sirens were genuinely horrifying. Not because of the game, but because every time I hear one of those, it reminds me of the historical implications. Also they sound so similar to tornado sirens here in the US. Regardless of where you hear that sound, it means one thing: you have minutes, maybe seconds to take cover.
@catkazoo2323 ай бұрын
100% this. I used to live less than a mile from a tornado siren, but it was also one that had used a voice that announced the tornado warning/take cover/emergency alert. It went off all the time (yay living in the southern US). It felt SO dystopian, and air raid sirens give me that same awful gut-wrench feeling, but with added layer of historical dread

I’m only about halfway through the video, and I’m already so creeped out. There’s something so unsettling about the phenomena in this. I don’t normally get truly scared at horror games, but this is sort of freaking me out. Lol. I’m really enjoying the story, too. I think my only complaint, and it’s a very minor one, is that the title is really forgettable, and I think that might stop people from checking it out. Which is too bad, because unless something goes terribly wrong, this is a fantastic horror game. 👻 Edit: Okay, having finished it now, it wasn’t as strong in the second half as the first. And the story wasn’t as tight. Still, fun enough game.

2:05:20 "Do some people believe in ghosts, but not demons?" Well, 'yes' and 'no', because it honestly depends entirely on what you mean by "demon" and whether or not that carries religious connotations. When the term "daimon/daemon" was seemingly first coined, back in ancient Greece, they were just considered to be "lesser deities" and/or guardian spirits, nothing necessarily malevolent about them. But after Christianity, and possibly the other Abrahamic religions, basically co-opted the term, it became the more commonly known term of "demon", which is basically a malevolent or mischievous spirit that usually torments mortals for nefarious purpose (usually religious-related). So while some people may believe in ghosts/spirits and associate malevolent spirits with the modern term of "demons", including the religious connotation, other people may not take that extra step and just stop at saying that it's a "malevolent spirit" OR they may call it a "demon", but just mean it's a "malevolent spirit" with nothing religiously connotative beyond that. (Fun fact: Computers actually have "daemons", thus named after the Greek term. They were named as such because "computer daemons" help with background processes, much in the way that the Greek guardian spirits helped mortals.)

But demons are a pure magic/religious thing that can't really fit that idea.
