How did this game get a 4/10?! This is easily a high rated game. Sure, like Mark said, there are a few rough edges here and there, but for a game which has been done by one person - props to you game dev!!! - this is phenomenal. I haven't gotten all the way through the video yet, but, yes, I could see a good review coming out of this game. So far, the only "complaint" I have about the game is the characters' mouths don't move. But if the dev(s) were on limited time and resources, I can understand and forgive that. Overall, though, this looks like a beautiful game design wise and I can't wait to see the rest of the video. P.S. Dev(s)! Shoot, dang! I enjoyed playing Choo-Choo Charles! The horror experience was amazing! The atmosphere is blood-curdling. The environment is phenomenal. The story is brilliant and well-written. Charles is horrifying! I still can't stop laughing at Eugene running at the speed of sound! The pickle lady is absolutely hilarious! The Slenderman reference is awesome! Bob is my favourite weapon to use. Outstanding work by Gavin Eisenbeisz for developing and making this game. Much appreciation to the people who have voiced the characters in the game. I am shocked that this game is rated 4/10 by IGN. To me, I rate this game 10/10. Choo-Choo Charles is a perfect, well-crafted masterpiece.

@@BrendenTait8858 A really great way to do that is to add a way to fight back, but with the constant threat of messing up, such as with limited ammo or an AI that attempts different methods of attacking. Imagine if Charles tried to sneak up after a few attempts, or hid beside a part of track you were approaching.

@@BrendenTait8858 Sometimes it does, it really depends on what the consequences for dying are. If you CAN fight back effectively or have a good chance of escaping even after getting noticed then why go through the trouble of sneaking when you can just run through guns out without ever really being punished for it? Even if you mess up what do you lose? A minute of walking? A horror game where there is no real consequence for dying becomes 10 times less scary after the first 2-3 deaths because there really isn't anything to fear. As an example, Alien: Isolation is a lot scarier than PREY imo, because you get seen you die. Even if you manage to hide in a room the Xenomorph barges in and checks a bunch of hidey-holes while you have to hold your breath to avoid being heard, so it's a lot better to avoid being seen at all. Yes, you have the flamethrower but after a while the AI learns to not fear it as much, so you are screwed anyway. In PREY? You get seen you shoot. Nothing to worry about. "Oh no that box was not a box it was a black blob guess I'll just have to kill it". Much less scary imo.
