those are a nice looking pair of pots for your friends, I think they will like them. one of these days you will have to fire some identically glazed pots in differently reduced atmospheres to show the difference.

Thank you! Well, amongst all the other gifts the cardboard columns would have looked out of place, so they were wrapped with a crinkly golden yellow waxy paper and finished with a bow.

I made a lidded vessel for my friends engagement once (I was best man too!). By all accounts it was thrown in the bin as soon as they got home. I found that disappointing 😔
