Super incredible! It's amazing to me that you had the know how, skill, and patience to restore this unique clock!!

Thanks! This one sure was a challenge, but I am happy with it at least.

What an interesting clock, thanks for sharing it with us. Also Kudos to the person who designed it.

Thank for watching! Hopefully I will be able to find out what company made this clock at least.

Good luck with your clock project! I've built a few nixie clocks from kits, but none completely from scratch, yet at least.

1970's cool!! I have a Hobart Nixie display in pieces at the shop in Hammersley; glad to see your videos once again, Matt.

Thanks! I'll try not to let two months go by before the next one, but we'll see. I'm curious about that Nixie display, I don't think I've seen any gear from them.

@@50sTransistorRadios I expect to be making what may be my last (ever) trip there prior to having a 5-hour surgery this October. We'll look for it then, it's from an old scale, are you still in upstate NY??

Well done bringing the clock back to life. Getting the ends off must have been traumatic... One crack and it would have forever ruined! When you get a chance please swap those 3 resistors for a ceramic wirewound. Will look much neater.

Thanks! Yeah, it was a bit nerve-wracking to say the least. Thankfully I managed to not damage the glass, which was nicely made (fairly thick, with the cut ends smoothed by fire). If I had a suitable single resistor on hand I would have used it, but alas, I didn't. If I do have to open it again for some reason, I will probably get one to replace it with though.

I wasn't able to track down anything on Google or Worthpoint either. Hopefully someone out there will have more info.
