Oddly enough, I had something almost exactly like this happen to me. There was this cute girl at work, and I asked her out. We planed to go on an over night hike. She said that she was recently out of a relationship, and both thought that an innocent hike would be good for the both of us. This is a trail that Ive hiked dozes of times by myself, so I knew the area very well. I went to pick her up around evening time, and as we where leaving town she kept getting calls, and she told me that they where scam calls. I get them too so it's what ever. We are about 2 hours into the hike, and her boyfriend has found us using some kind of location app on her phone. He watched her leave town, and go down this trail. He came down with a handgun, drunk, and trying to get her back. What is even the right call here? The girl is unloyal, cheating on her bf with a random dude (me) and putting me in a life threatening situation. At the same time, he's not level headed and I don't want him to be a risk to her. Shitty people all around.
