A Glimpse at the Rives Mansion Restoration

The more than 100 year old James C. Rives Mansion is being restored and preserved for the community in Downey, Calif.
The home is on the national registry for historical places. Ralph Verdugo, owner of the Rives Mansion Steakhouse and Wine Gardens is doing the restoration of the home piece by piece.

The house looks so run down from the outside. l passed by in my car and saw a for sale sign. l hope this beautiful home is restored to it's former glory.

I just drove past it today and saw "SOLD" sign. I wonder if the people in this video bought it. I'd rather see it as a restaurant and place where people can visit than see it closed forever.
