Glad you enjoyed this. Our first day out for nearly 10 months! Hopefully now mobility has been restored we can get travelling and enjoying the world once more. We now appreciate our mobility more. The video about Brodsworth Hall and the Victorian pleasure gardens is truly an eye-opener! Hello Helene & Serge. This garden is a short drive from us so we stop off fairly often. Never disappoints. It was our first proper trip out for many months and so was all the more enjoyable. The following day we were walking in heavy rain and it still felt great. We are hoping to head into Germany & Austria in a couple of weeks time and enjoy another Christmas in Vienna. We are just grateful to be able to travel once more. Hope you are both well especially now your long winter is starting to bite. Best wishes Robert & Ivor.

English heritage is fantastic. So many preserved houses and castles full of history. The beautiful architecture, interior and amazing garden in this calm environment leave you breathless. You gave so much interesting information about the place.

We are lucky that we have so many organisations that help maintain so much of the historic fabric of the nation. The National Trust also does this but also protects landscapes and coasts where possible. Membership of these organisations gives access to so much. This short trip to Brodsworth was our first trip after mobility was restored to us. The nine month wait to have an op has seemed interminable. Hope to get out and about much more now. We were surprised at the amount of colour on October 1st. This is not far from us so we visit fairly often. It was or first weekend away after our period of inactivity waiting for my op (Robert). We were hoping that it would be the start of many more. While we have been getting out things took a turn while we were in Cornwall last week and so we have had to slow down again already. Hopefully this will just be a couple of weeks but it does knock the confidence. Best wishes from the UK oncemore.

Hello. This was the start of October and our first trip away for nearly 9 months! Not far but baby steps. Hoping that things would be better from here on. We had a bit of a problem on a subsequent trip to Cornwall but hoping that is all resolved now and we can really get out and about again. At the end of next week we are flying to Germany and Austria for a month away. We are crossing everything in the hope that no more unexpected health issues arise. Glad you enjoyed the garden. Those gardens are deceptive as they seem much larger than they actually are. Clever planting and design take you on circuitous routes. We don`t usually go into the mansion but on this trip (our first for nearly 10 months) we had a walk through as well. Thanks for watching.
