I like the long, wide herbaceous borders best - I think I need a head gardener to do all the staking in my garden…oh, I’ve just remembered - that’s me 😮. Thank you for the interesting information.

Oh, the staking ... I need someone to do it for me too, well in advance. I'm usually late with it. Did you notice the staddle stones? They're completely unknown in my corner of the planet.

Dear viewers, I think I owe you an apology for the relatively low resolution of some of my videos. I noticed some time ago that some of the takes/images were not sharp enough but since then I have been unable to do anything about it. What I see on the screen of my phone is clear and detailed but after I do the montage and upload the material onto my channel, and then it is processed by the YT studio, the quality seems to deteriorate. At present my phone is the only item of filming equipment which is at my disposal. Thank you for your understanding. J.

Hi English. I have to say I didn’t notice until I read your comment. But checking it appears I can only select a maximum of 720p. I don’t know if that is correct. Anyway a lovely garden and like I said I didn’t notice any poor quality. I hope you had a great Christmas and new year. ;)

Thank you for stopping by! The quality of my videos is, in my opinion, definitely lower than the average, but I do hope most people don't mind it that much. One way to solve the problem would be to change the "initial" resolution of the material but then the amount of data I have to store and process on my computer hits the ceiling. Anyway, I went down with the flu at the beginning of the festive season and I'm still coughing, but I'm going to live ;-) I managed not to infect my elderly parents who I live with so I'm really glad. I hope you and Mrs Jay Jay had a great Christmas time, without any health-related attractions :-)
