I find even after thousands of hours of sermons, its often difficult to have confidence in a particular biblical concept. It’s amazing how many times Chris Whites analytical approach clarifies my position on scripture. Great work once again. It would be great if one day you could do a series on the northern kingdom / House of Israel / lost tribes and their reemergence.

I appreciate your thoughtful studies, Chris. I have been a follower of yours going back to the debunking Zeitgeist days. Your humble and non-dogmatic approach has been extremely important to me in search of understanding God's Word aside from traditional church doctrine, which helped me revaluate my long-held pre-trib beliefs. I now hold a pre-wrath position due in large part to your videos, particularly your Matt 24/Rev 6 comparison study. Thanks! With that said, even though I understand and tend to agree with what you are proposing, on the negative side is it possible that a replacement theology mindset could creep into this kind of position, even to a heretical extent like the serpent seed doctrine? Could you take time to confront that angle?

I really dont see this being like replacement theology at all. The opposite actually. I am saying that the Jews and national Israel have a separate distinct plan in the future to fulfill all of god promises to them distinctly.

What do you do with Ezekiel 39:25-29 has the phrase from the Deut. 32 world view. "I will not hide my face anymore from them"?.

My current thinking is that that section is speaking of the eternal kingdom after the 1000 years, but I will know more when I get to that section in this study.

@@hiswaysarehigher Hi Chris, Thank you for the work you do, much appreciated. I am not English so forgive me some mistakes. I would appreciate if you could find and share problems with below interpretation. I was just thinking if you could consider that perhaps verses 25-29 do speak about the the timing just before Milenium and there is a reason to put them after the verses describing war that happens when 1000 years is completed. I see that verse 21 speaks about God's glory to be revealed among the nations by destruction of Gog and his armies described earlier [after milenium]. Then verse 22 speaks that through this judgment Israel will know that Lord is THEIR God from that point forwards. Then what is important to me is verse 23 which speaks about the nations and their understanding through God's judgment on them why God in the past judged his nation. This will be one of the reasons why the name of the Lord will no longer be desecrated forever. They will understand that in the past God had to punish sin by sending his people to captivity, and that it was just to do it by Lord. Then from verse 25 I see a description of how God started the restoration process for Israel for his name sake. From v. 25-29 looks to me that we have a description about Lord being jealous of his name because Israel was in captivity, which correlates with Ezekiel 36: 20-31 and finally our Lord gathers them [Ezekiel 38: 8 and Ezekiel 39: 27- 28], he gives them a new heart and his Spirit and thus his name is sanctified. In contrast, Ezekiel 39: 6-7 in my opinion speaks of another event. It says that the name of the Lord will never be profaned again after the Lord destroys Gog, Magog and the rest, and not after gathering them from different lands and nations as they were already in the land in Ezekiel 38.

What about the riches in Israel? And do you think Israel could be dispersed again if this isnt the calling of God?
@With-one-wing3 жыл бұрын
It almost seems that the second gathering would be the rapture if the Lord is involved as it states. So is this what you are saying Chris?
@hiswaysarehigher3 жыл бұрын
The rapture certainly could be a kind of near fulfillment, but the gathering in these prophecies must be of the house of Israel.

Here's the main problem about Israel. This is all wonderful to have Bible quotations about ancient issues that don't pertain to modern day issues because the modern day issues that are not addressed in biblical text are 3 Atheists forming the state of Israel in 1948. Nothing pertains to modern day Israel in 1948 because the prophets that you are quoting were pertaining to the time they were happening. And news Flash there are no modern day prophets predicting anything about Israel after Christ. Bar Kohkba is prime example. 1666 and Kabbalah issues are another failure. We can even look at what happened with Julian the Apostate and trying to rebuild the 3rd temple as another pure example that once Christ hit the scene that covenant shrivelled up. Dispensationalist eschatology is false teaching. PERIOD.
