From what I’ve heard Bullard (on this channel somewhat), is that he works really hard to achieve the level he performs at in whatever sport (football, golf, fishing etc), to the point where it’s an obsession. I think that’s what honestly is required in order to get to such a level of performance. Behind his ‘joker’ demeanour, there is a real obsessed sportsman. Bloke is a legend.

Agree, I also loved the fierce competitiveness bubbling underneath. You could tell the prospect of losing to a retired footballer was really eating away at Ewen, while Bully’s determination and appetite for a scrap showed just why he made it as a footballer. Jimmy what a great golf swing, poetry in motion and the rest of the game top notch to , understands & knows how to read greens to which is a part of the game that is so important if you cannot read a green that chances of constantly getting those tricky 5 6 7 10 footers in as the pros do , level up to the same level of a more high handicap player, trevino one of he greatest golfers was one of the best readers of the greens understood grains to which is another vital area, I was hopeless at reading greens and books for that matter but loved the game all the same got to high single figures with a dodgy swing and rubbish putter, not hit a ball for ten years, may be one day may have another go, after watching jimmys swing !!!
