Undertaking a PhD has its ups and downs, but like any job or workplace having a good support force is so important. I can hand on heart say that I have an amazing PI and super supportive lab collegues. One of the added advantages of doing a PhD Cambridge University is having the college community and I can say that I have met some incredible people who can call my friends within my college. This vlog contains a brief take on my life within the lab, but more importantly a conversation with my wonderful master's student Jonathan, who has been an absolute pleasure to work with on how he obtained the research internship, his experience within the lab, and the incredible interdisciplinary opportunities available within our lab.
