Nah. Loops are harder to create than that. At best he will fumble about a few times until one of the "loops" veers too far off course and results in a complete break. A perfect loop would require a perfect reason for Caleb to continue the action in exactly the same manner. What we saw here looks highly imperfect.

Not exactly. He in all likelihood changes his actions slightly each time he does it. Eventually one of him won't even do it. Ifinity is much bigger than people realize and to create a perfect loop would require circumstances to require perfection. Caleb would need to be forced into acting EXACTLY the same way each time or he changes the loop slightly each time finally resulting in a collapse or a perfect loop being formed. This Caleb hardly got to use his phone so its unlikely he is the same as the Caleb who just robbed him.
