Hi Jane, I learnt so many new English words and some background stories about the symbols too on your tutorial.... - my favorite is 'brass poppers' I don't even know the German word for it. Big Dankeschön Jane. Enjoy wearing that very special piece of clothing. Liebe Grüße 💜💜💜
@purplejanew2 жыл бұрын
Hi Susanne - how are you doing? So great that you can hear new words! Poppers is the equivalent of the American 'snap fastener' if that helps? Dankeschön for watching and commenting and I am sending Liebe Grüße to you too xx 💜💜💜

Lovely jacket Jane, and thanks for the meaning of the symbols. I learned something new. I have some patches hanging around, so now I need to find a similar awesome jacket to put them on. I glue first then sew mine on. I don't want them to come off ever. (Jan Griffiths).

Thanks Jan - this glue is very good I have to say and using it on jackets means it doesn't go in the washing machine as often!

Loved the bat patch. So beautiful. Wish we had that type of prizes in our shops, but here it's trendy... so many things are even more expensive than new ones. The jacket looks fabulous! And agree... It can never go wrong with a Sisters of Mercy patch. 🖤🖤🖤🖤

@@purplejanew haha we don't have those areas. But guess if I have better time in future I can try shops in UK. And I live in the area of Sweden that is famous through years for textiles, fabrics, clothes and even nowadays for research how to for an example recycle old clothes.

Ectogasm on Instagram has some interesting collar pins that you might like to use. I have found collar spikes at H&M. I love to use them because they help flatten down problematic collars. I use them on pockets sometimes, as well. The draw back is they have to be removed when you wash your jacket. What a fantastic jacket, you did it up well. Brava. Thanks for sharing. All the Best to You. & You have nice hands.
