A Grand Day Out - Onboard the Paddle steamer Waverly.

June 2017, aboard the last sea gong steam paddle steamer Waverly. Departing from and returning from Ayr, Crossing the Firth of Clyde to Brodick on the Isle of Arran and then to Largs, Dunoon and Loch Long.
Weather was poor but this was compensated by long period's in the engine room.
Waverly has almost completed a major overhaul with a new boiler being installed. She should be undertaking trials during the Autumn of 2020 and returning to service in 2021, hopefully.
