The reason for the ice cream bar is because after his pipe bomb promo CM punk and vince did a promo where CM punk was going to sign a contract but wanted certain demands and one was to bring back the old WWE ice cream bars that were discontinued in 2008 and put his face on it

I want to clarify that the Cyber Sunday 2007 poster shows Candice Michelle, former WWE Women's Champion, Woman of the Year in 2007 according to Pro Wrestling Illustrated, the first WWE wrestler to appear in several Super Bowl ads, in addition to being invited to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and most importantly, after suffering an injury during a match against Beth Phoenix and making the referee stop the match, the rules were changed in favor of the wrestlers in WWE, achieving that if a wrestler was injured live, the match was finished as soon as possible, since before they were not allowed and it was from the case of her that the company's policy changed, this was confirmed by former WWE referee, Mike Chioda. She was one of the most prominent WWE wrestlers in her time both outside and inside the company. So WWE didn't put it by chance on that poster, it was a recognition for all its achievements and effort at the wrestling level in the ring, it was definitely more than a pretty face. I think that the time of the Divas in WWE is unfortunately underestimated, when they really paved the way for today's women to have the same importance as men👍🏻

I'm pretty sure the Unforgiven 2001 Poster was supposed to signify the storyline Steve Austin was in during the time, he was slowly losing his mind and becoming more erratic. So the idea was at Unforgiven he's lost it, and the poster is likely supposed to be his psyche breaking.

The TLC poster of punk with the ice cream bar was around the time when punk was fighting hard to get the ice cream bars to come back. Around the TLC PPV, WWE finally brought them back. and since punk was the main one making noise about it, they did this as a inside joke for him and the fans.

Regarding the Armageddon 2002 poster, Torrie Wilson was involved in a story with Dawn Marie at the time. There was a 'revealing' promo between the two at the PPV, which is why she was on the poster, but you are correct, she was not in an actual match at that event

Do your research before rating. Ice cream bar was a key in Punk's pipe-bomb promo! Torrie's Armageddon poster had a lot to do with her ongoing storyline back in the days. She was framed to be a sexual predator by Dawn Marie and a bunch of people as per the script. Candice Michelle was a huge money grabber for WWE during the Cyber Sunday 2007 poster. Judgment Day 2009 was sponsored by Terminator: Salvation The Video Game.

I like this perspective on PPV posters. It's funny how a graphic designer that isn't all that involved with wrestling outside this channel gave a B- to what is considered by fans "the ugliest PPV poster of all time". If anything it shows how powerful an echo chamber can be. And also that sometimes ugliness has its place.
