It's one of those songs that make multi tasking impossible for me when I hear it on the radio. I just have to stop everything and only listen. Although I think there may be a version with other singers maybe? At least this one sounded different from the one I've been hearing mostly. But Christina is always outstanding, her voice is unique. "Say something" - Yes, Communication - necessary for any kind of relationship, when it's missing it keeps you in the dark, confusion and, often sadness. Things unsaid can break people apart or at least cause distance between them. Beautiful song, so simple and sincere.

I had actually heard the song on a competition show (many competition shows)…but this is the original version. After seeing the video, I can see how it can relate to anyone, at all stages of life. Great reaction HAP!! Their voices do harmonize so well together in the song. It is a definite tear jerker!! 🌻

The young couple are drug addicts, and the girlfriend has decided to leave her boyfriend…the little girl is hiding from her parents fighting and likely divorce, and so is the family dog…and the elderly man is saying his last goodbye to his dying wife. All three scenes depicted in this video are extremely heartbreaking…I can never get past this video without sobbing.

Gorgeous song. I get chills every time. Caleb Hyles does a truly chilling cover. Now I don't stand by the man's views; but can I recommend/request Dee Snider's acoustic version of We're Not Gonna Take It? Although incomparable, this song and that one often give me the same exact feeling. I am also very much willing to bet that I am at least quarter million of those views LOL because I listen to the song obsessively for five years.
