Looks like a great device. Would have been nice if it had a headphone jack ot atleast an Ethernet port

@teohontech7141 well, they keep responding with useless tips that prove they dont know either. There is no actual mirrored option to click. They keep writing for me to click mirrored. I send them screen shots and then give me a new tech guy.
@teohontech714117 күн бұрын
@@johandoe895 You can't format this with the iPad. If you need to change any settings or format with this ACASIS, you have to use an actual computer, Mac or Windows.

@ there you go . I’m stuck. Now they want me to send an video via email as to what is visible when I right click….impossible. Got it down to 8 sec at 34mb and tooooo big. Ffs
@johandoe89517 күн бұрын
@ geniuses keep telling me to click mirror. It’s not listed. Even in their own instructions it say click mirror with an arrow to stripped or spanned. So so frustrating. I already bought another unit from another manufacturer. F them

Nice vid mate "Has USB-A" = waste of money. 1997 was over 25 years ago. Anyone that still needs it for certain devices (myself included) should be using USB-A converters, and new devices misallocating USB-A instead of USB-C is an immediate no buy
@nicetrayyy2 ай бұрын
Tbh completely agree, even if you use USB-A it’s much more future proof to have USB-C and in case you need it you can always use a converter.

It's acasis anyway lol. Don't buy this trash brand.

Hi Teoh, Can you compare the size of the Huion PW 517/550 nib with the Wacom One Pen nib, is it the same size or not? Can you use that huion nib on Wacom one pen?

I'm really surprised by the VERY LOW Speeds. If i compare it to my Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB placed in an older Anyono TB-casing i get MUCH higher speeds on my M1 MBA 16/256 In Blackmagic depending on the stress size 1-5 GB (5 GB seems to be the standard value) i get the following values Stress Level 5 GB Write 2445 MB/s Read 2768 MB/s Stress Level 1 GB Write 3666 MB/s Read 2798 MB/s Stress Level 2 GB Write 2804 MB/s Read 2755 MB/s Stress Level 3 GB Write 2586 MB/s Read 2759 MB/s Stress Level 4 GB Write 2502 MB/s Read 2757 MB/s So it seems that in the Acasis TBU405 ProMax every NVME Port just get half of the available bandwidth by default, does it have differnt values when only populated with one NVME drive, does the WD Blacks same values in diffrent TB-housings? The problem with striping is an extended danger of data loss, and only with striping the device delivers the performance much cheaper standard NVME housings deliver, of course there can't be a higher data transfer due to the limitations of TB/USB4, you have only 40 Gbps , for all (Video, Network, Data), and the amount of data bandwidth is limited by specification, you can use a NVME Gen 5 you won't get more, a high end Gen 3 almost deliver everything possible (app. 95%) but you get them dirt cheap now.

I have written many emails asking for a manager or supervisor. The instruction are horrible, every single help email response from them is either answered with a direct link to the horrible instructions or half answered emails. I written instructions guide to drop downs that dont even exist. I ve had the unit for three weeks and still cant use it. DO NOT BUY THIS

@ the set up instructions are so vague. I cant tell if it’s raid 1 or raid0. And dont know how to change it. The disk management offfers stripped or simple . What is that even?
@teohontech714119 күн бұрын
@@johandoe895 If you're setting up with Windows, it's NOT EASY. It's better to search for online tutorials than read the manual because the text is so small! I did successfully test Raid with Windows OS so it does work. It's just that the setup process is not as straightforward compared to MacOS.
