A GREAT EXCURSION to Try in Mexico | All-Inclusive Resort | RIU Tequila | Cancun | Playa del Carmen

What's up Spreezies! We traveled to Cancun (Playa del Carmen) to celebrate our 5 year anniversary in June. We spent 4 nights at the wonderful RIU Tequila which is a part of RIU properties and is and is an All-Inclusive Resort. Because we stayed on a RIU property, we also had access to the other RIU resorts that were near by. This is the 1st all-inclusive series we've posted on our channel and I will tell you we had an absolute blast!
In this video we begin to become more adventurous and have booked another excursion through Viator.com to take us away from the property for a little while. The name of it is Jungle Buggy Tour from Playa del Carmen Including Cenote Swim. We've done ATV's in the past and this was our 1st time ever trying out the buggies. Our tour guide took us all throughout the jungle where we got down and dirty in the dirt and the mud. Mid-way in the tour, we stopped at a Cenote and was able to do some snorkeling in a cave. We later returned to try out one of the specialty restaurants on the RIU property and checked out some of the nightly entertainment they have for guests.

Surprisely, we have never done an ATV or dune buggy excursion. Phil was showing out with his no hands driving. Guess he thought he was riding in a slab with swangers!!! 😂😂😂

Hey guys. The activity board to swipe is nice but I’m like Phil; I like the paper entire day events in my hand. Y’all get it late to be missing breakfast. We early birds up at 7. Great you got picked up. Cool 😎 driving the dune buggy’s but I’m not with walking between and down that to get to the beach. The thought of climbing back up. The cenote is beautiful but all them rocks 🪨 and fish 🐠 not for me 😂. Oh you didn’t film the climb back up. Riding the dune and ATV’s the dirty excursions. Dee said the your guide for over yonder and Phil all in the bushes 😂😂😂. Got to Bamboo before the crowd 👍🏼. Oh a buffet. Oh the pink/blue shots 😋😋😋. Butterfly 🦋 clad show. Agreed Phil. They do be scimping on those drinks sometimes. That 🍓🍧must’ve been all that. Thanks for sharing guys.

So, turns out, they have a new app. Found out yesterday so you can keep up with the events on your phone now. Whew 7am? Yall can have a whole day completed before we even get started. lol Yea, it was a lot to get down to the Cenote, we even slipped a couple times just trying to get down there. Surprisingly it felt easier going back up. The Chinese food was REALLY good. We were pleasantly surprised. I guess the ice cream was good the way Dee was raving about it. But yea I believe their alcohol content is also less than liquors in North America.

That hike was something else and so were the mosquitos coming out of the water and going back through the jungle. Lol Fernando was an awesome guide. He made it really fun.

How long was the commute from the Cancun airport to the resort ?

Because we had to stop at other resorts to drop people off, it was about an hr. 45 mins if it's a straight shot.

How would you rate the hotel? Would this be a birthday trip hotel ?

We'd say it's about a solid 7/10. The only thing is that we had to go across the street to another RIU property to access the beach. They do also offer a complementary shuttle which you can take there. We'll talk about that in the next video we're getting ready to push out.
