I am so glad you all captured this. We wanted to do this but it sold out quickly. Now I see why with the amount of space. I'll have to replay this tomorrow for our daughter to see this experience. I love how they were in character plus all of the details throughout the experience. Looks fun, funny and interactive."My butt is bumping" . Those squirrels caught me off guard too. No problem at all. It was truly a great experience. I'm surprised they had availability when we called because we got it less than 1 week before our cruise. We were expecting ot to be sold out

The sail away parties are weird on the inside. We've never experienced one but I feel like it takes away from the entire experience.

I just got off Utopia and me had a ball! The Red party was packed, Latin club did not disappoint, we stayed up all night! We didn't drink anything but water and unsweetened tea! So I guess who's on the ship with you...

We are on Utopia in October. Escape from reality for a few days is always fun. People watching is also big fun. We are going to have a great time but will watch out for the items you mentioned. We have inner balcony rooms over Central Park like we had on Oasis. Can't wait. P.S. we have rezes on Norwegian Aqua coming out in the Spring. You ain't losin' if you're cruisin'.

Quest being empty is very odd, even with the Aqua Show being released later, but it was cool to have an after-party afterward in the same space. Go back and watch the lady behind y'all at 15:39 😂😂😂.

If you start with a sail away party thats too spread out, then the stage is already set for standard Royal Caribbean. The Fun Squad begins with hype. When they run out and do a routine and everyone has at least a little real rhythm. When the Fun Squad busts through the door, everyone already knows it's going to be dope. When we were on Utopia they had a few with rhythm. But it was mainly the same hires. When they popped out we knew it was going to be the same

Yes! Having that big split down the middle of the 2 pools hurts the sail away party. And there's tons of members of the fun squad and not so many of them on the party squad for royal. But you are correct. Royal is trying with this ship, but it's not that effective.

I think it’s the demographics of the ppl who are on the ship making it seem like a regular Royal Cruise. Just like Carnival has their demographic on there 4 days sailings and they be turnt. If you switched demographics I bet this ship would be turnt up. Royal attracts a certain crowd of ppl and vice versa with Carnival. Plus Royal is considered a luxury cruise ship so it’s pricey compared to Carnival. Just my opinion as to why ship doesn’t seem like a party ship that they want it to be.

Couldn't agree with you more when speaking about the types of crowds they draw. But idk if I'd day Royal wad luxury. Now Celebrity Cruise line is Royal caribbeans luxury brand and THAT was very very nice. We have a series coming out soon of our experience on celebrity.

mini-quests in the promenade or pop up quests. rccl need to change their music selections big time, have more activies with staff as a group and fire the wack dj's. they can let PARTY SHIP IDEA fall into the ocean.

Yes he got cheated out of the contest. Definitely shpuldven been 1st. Quest never filled up surprisingly. But the party started off good but eventually fizzled out.

GM guys. Oh sea day. One with Oasis class, their kid areas, splash areas are amazing. Oh this sexy man contest has dancing and stripping and standing on the judges chair is a prerequisite 😂😂😂. The 2 guys in gold at the pool party was staff or passengers? Agreed. It looked like hanging out. Ok you just said they were blowing bubbles. I think I want to try the railway dinner experience. We are going to stay in a boardwalk cabin as well. Don’t think our view will be great cuz we took the room closest to the elevator. On the Edge we chose the last room and my knees were screaming 😂. I like a non crowded show. Think you need a few drinks to participate in Quest 😂. Hollering at the men in ladies shoes and bras etc 🤣🤣🤣. Y’all partied after 💃🏼🕺. It was full enough. That was alot of ppl on the dance floor. Definitely better than the other party you showed that had like 10 ppl standing around. Great vid guys. We got y’all by 25 - 30 yrs so don’t always need the turn up but when I was your age; didn’t miss a beat. Have a great weekend guys. Hope your comfortable Dee🤗

We like rooms not too close but not too far from the elevator. Can be a lot of noise/traffic. Yea that sexy man contest was on another level than what we were used to. Lol the dance floor was full, but not for long. It fizzled out not long after. Lol thanks for stopping by. 😊

It wasn't even a line to get in quest. That's too gret of a show and should've been scheduled later so you aren't pulling your passengers in multiple directions between 2 shows

Royal was my first cruise and we were the youngest people at dinner. I feel like older people enjoy it more and younger people enjoy the party vibe of Carnival.

Haven't been on utopia but I think you're spot on by saying most people who go with Royal aren't there for the party vibe, so it's gonna be hard to develop that. I go to relax, eat, watch shows, karaoke, a little dancing that's not unhinged hahaha - still to have fun but not necessarily to party. Some do, some don't. It's a good balance, I think. I think oasis class is particularly hard to make a party ship - so many families go with with oasis class for the kids.
