Nice trip report. Air India services have highly improved after privatisation. Just found a small thing wierd that there was no inflight magazine in the business class cabin. I found one in my dubai to delhi flight recently that too in economy class. Not a big thing but still strange. Looking forward to your future trip reports.

It was quite rough over the Bay of Bengal this flight. I believe the turbulence lasted for a good 45 minutes
