No offense but I think he just made it worse. His hair is thinning on top and in my opinion the whole point of the haircut is to make him have a proper fade to define the little hair he has on top and definitely not cut the area where the hair is already thinning. Could have done better. :/

My hair was thinning in almost the same way that this guy's, except mine is dark . Just buzzed off with number 2 and beard number 4 guard. Best decision ever. There's a point you try to make it look normal, hide the thin spots using a combover, etc. I respect the fact he wants to keep it, but the earlier you own the buzzed/shaved hair, the better. That's the day you finally feel free.

As a guy with receding hairline, videos like this makes me cry. The barber needs to go back to school. The after hairstyle is horrible. Take a look at the barber's own hairstyle and his overall style, clearly dude doesn't know what hes doing.

I really liked the skin fade and I usually think that this type of cut is great for receding/mature hairlines. But this mans temples had receded too much so I don’t feel like the top was complementary. Buzzing may have been a better option for him.

Wow what you need to do is a taper/ blown out, or low fade. On the sides you do a number 2/3 and leave the top to play with it looks way better
