Excellent Julian. I think you’ve answered many of the questions I was going to fire at you. I need to watch this again and digest. Although I use Fotospeed papers now, I have been a looong time user of Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308, although being a matt paper, I always found the colours to be bright

That was my experience as well Steve. Very vibrant for a matt paper. It will be one I use again for sure. :-)

Great images, Julian. Nicely composed, and executed exquisitely. I trudged up to West mill yesterday morning only to find it socked in. Sooo, back to the car and down the road to Belstone... SOCKED IN.... decided to wait it out until the ever present wind, whistled the low cloud away. It was worth the wait, and developed the resulting negatives this morning... all nicely exposed, so into the darkroom on Sunday to print. Glad to hear your thinking of shooting more black and white, I for one would be more than interested in seeing your results. I've shot and printed black and white for the last twenty years 😊 it would be great to see how you handle, and see in B&W. Really nice work and video mate. 👍👍👍 Did you walk from the Fox and Hounds or the Dartmoor inn via Brat, to get to Links?

Thanks Kit. Dartmoor can definitely be a waiting game can't it. But it's great when it all comes together. I hope you prints come out well! Thanks for the words of encouragement on shooting more B&W photography. I should get out there with a bit more B&W focus for sure. I walked in via the Dartmoor Inn, and up between Arms and Brat. :-)

I have also walked in via Sourton Tors, and even as far back as Meldon. It's a really nice walk to Great Links from there, but not when you are carrying two tripods and cameras!
