This place is called Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport.
It's got a raised viewing area with shelters. A cafe with indoor seating and picnic area. A shop selling aeroplane models and equipment for aviation enthusiasts. They also have a real size Concorde in its own hangar that's available for guided tours and an Avro RJX aircraft you can look inside for free. Anyone feeling brave can try the fighter aircraft simulator.
It's open every day from 8am to dusk and gets busy during fine weather.
