it is a fascinating story isn't it, how we go yesterday from Give me a 2x double portion, to the 1st and early days of love, sertivtude, and sonship .... the days of 1st love that Jesus reminds us of, to not seek the praise, not seek the glory, not gloat in the achievements, but to humbly love, serve one another, pouring ourselves out as He did. Water is also a symbol of life and cleansing. I guess perhaps those like Pastor Lance or Pastor Miles would qualify to be under the humble supporter mantle of Pastor David so work that is hard behind the scenes can come to fruition and be possible with the help from God to get the projects done. The harves is great - the workers - the humble servants are few - or humble as Dr. J. Vernon McGee used to say.

No matter how far one gets away from the Lord, at least learn from Jehosophat who remembered perhaps his roots or the roots of those who brought him up, there is one who is strong and mighty. He may have not lived perfectly. Like ourselves, he probably did not deserve anything of or from God, yet he inquired. It is always a good option to consider and ask of the Lord. We may not be in alignment, yet tho sins be a scarlet it is He who can make them white as snow. It is He who can answer and be of help. So the king asked, and in a story, a king could relate to, because someone in his kingdom probably also had that lowly job of washing the king's hands - he could understand.
