Had 1939 and 1945 Tissot 6216 pieces with Lemania CH27 column wheel. The real thing. This one in the vid looks good but misses the essential : 84 years of age. "Heritage" is not something I have warmed to yet, real vintage yes. Waves my 1963 165.024.

I really enjoy what Tissot has on offer with this release. Strangely, the font of the logo is a sticking point, and doesn't allow my eye to fully appreciate the dials' other features as a result.

Why so big? WHY SO BIG?!?! A great piece ruined by the size..50mm L2G ruins the wearability and doesn’t match with the elegant proportions that a chrono like this must have. Shame on you Tissot (and all other modern brands which are actually considering a 42mm case an ok size that fits all: wrong!)

Now this is another Tissot chronograph that I want to see in the flesh at the AD when they are available. The last time I did this was when I looked at the PRX chrono that took some months to arrive at the AD.... and I walked out with the silver dial Panda version... after paying of course. Tissot was my first dipping of the toe into mainstream Swiss watches many years ago and they still make great watches with new models both modern and classic designs. Certainly the PRX gave the market a well deserved kick. Well done Tissot! Keep up the great work.

Stunning Watch. The only reason i'd hold off is because I already own two Tissot's and this year I've bought a brand new Longines Hydroconquest and an Omega Speedmaster and they need wrist time before I consider another. Tissot is on another level. Makes no sense to buy any other brand at this price point. This Telemeter eats Oris Big Crown for lunch

Make it 40mm across. Get rid of the winding mechanism and do a manually wound movement with a case less than 13mm thick overall. Keep the lug to lug at 47mm or less. I got very excited when I saw the pic but as soon as he said 42mm I lost it. This could had been a hit, but commercial design and thinking win once again. Companies should look at the success Tudor has had with the BB 58 and 39mm Pelagos where people are lining up for buying and learn something. Yes I get that Tissot and all companies should make bigger watches with cheap available movements and no modifications to keep things cheaper and maximize profit, but anything labeled a "heritage" piece maybe should be "heritage" designed, just saying.

Just lookin at Dan Henry's offerings i see replicas of vintage Omegas, Bulovas, Longines, Zenith and more.

I'm glad it's 42mm. On my 19.5 cm wrist, 38 mm would look like a women's watch. I mean look at the Cartier Tank on M.Ali's wrist. Looks like a children's watch. On the other hand, I understand that most people seem to have smaller wrists. Therefore every manufacturer should produce two sizes of each model. 👍😀

It's clearly cashing in on the popularity of the janeiro, except that one is 37.5mm and this is 42mm. Oversized vintage inspired watches are doomed to fail and it's an embarrassment that these brands haven't realized that, and yet Dan Henry manages to do it all by himself.

Teddy I have been following your videos for years now. Happy to see you and your channel and business grow. However, why should I care about any brand when all of them belong to one group like Swatch or other?? Their history touted seems mythical to me. Swatch owns ETA. Movements are known Similar stuff. So called decorations apart whats the big deal?? Case sizes? Finish? Complications? It looks like incestous to me ! What am I buying? And coming from India, I am sorry to say the anthropometrics suck and are biased towards caucasian physiques. If I had nothing to do I would have set up an Asian company sensitive to Asian anthropometrics. I am modern and not anti-feminist or women or other identities But why should my wrist be bundled under women?? In a mindlessly woke world, why should I bundle my identity under any other?? I decided its smart to find the movement that is repairable, a case that fits me and what is affordable/lovable Rest is marketing hype IMHO Best
