i have played a lot against lvl8 bot, and all i can say is that you can learn a lot from it but the more you play, the more you realise that the bot playstyle is one layered and it gets to the point where you memorize his pattern and beat him over and over. the problem is when i go back to ranked it just feels very weird to fight real players as each one has a different approach on how to play the game. (sorry for my bad english)

I can understand what you mean, they do fight different, but they do abuse a lot of stuff that forces you to understand the character in order to bear it. its always better to fight people to beat people, but some of the basics you can definitely learn from the CPU

@@kaution6829 I appreciate the reply and yeah, I totally agree with what u said. Personally, fighting bots helped me figure out my bad habits and focus more on optimizing my punish with the resources I have since the bot's defense is really consistent and kind of hard to break. thank you for the efforts by the way, keep at it !

I used to fight more against lv 7 cpu in order to train my anti air. I feel the lv 7 cpu it's more honest instead of the cpu lv 8 that seems like it's reading inputs. I'm not sure it does but I feel like it. Btw yes, it could be a good way to warm up for rankeds/normal matches with real players.

i like to practice new combos on low level CPUs. gives me a reason to be a little defensively responsible and I have to start the combo on a moving opponent. i find it makes taking a new combo from training mode to a real match have less of a harsh transition
