What a lovely mix of animals for a smaller place. I like how not showy it is. Sometimes simple is better. Great video guys.

Hey there, thanks. It eeally was a nice surprise as we werent expecting too much to be honest. You'd like to think they've spent all the money looking after the animals, rather than flashy signage etc. Hope you've had a great weekend! Matt and Issy

Glad you enjoyed this little gem in Cambridgeshire. I've been a few times myself over the years and seen it grow. They've spent a lot of time and money on paths and improving the zoo. I saw Cheetah cubs in March last year here but, the ones you saw I think come from another litter. The White Tiger you saw is actually a Bengal Tiger (which is the only sub specie in which you can come across white ones. I worked with one at Colchester Zoo in the early 2000's) and the more common colour one was the Malayan Tiger. When I visited last year they had 2 Malayan Tigers and the 1 White Bengal Tiger. They do have an overflow car park for when it's busier as it was when I visited. Think they keep closed during the winter to protect during these colder wetter months. Thanks for the video and glad you had a sunny day for it.

Ahhh interesting. That makes sense about the tigers. I think the white one wasn't in its normal enclosure due to work they were doing. They were doing plenty of buildings, so it seems like they're gradually improving things near the front of the park, which we assume is the oldest part. It certainly was a hidden gem as we'd never heard of it until recently. The weather was great, but we said, we might have to visit again in the summer. Cheers for the info. Have a great weekend! Hi Matt, Issy and Sienna, what a brilliant vlog thank you - I really enjoyed seeing Hamerton Zoo, I thought it all looked great! I loved seeing little Sienna's face light up when she saw the Flamingos - a moment to treasure, bless her! Take care all of you and enjoy the rest of the weekend. 🙂

Hi there. Thanks for watching! We were certainly surprised by Hamerton. We only discovered it existed a few weeks ago. Like we said, it's not all 'singing and dancing', but the range of species was great, and it's always good to find somewhere new! Have a great weekend. Matt and Issy
