Also recommending OBS. If OBS Studio gives you performance issues, you could try OBS Classic, in case it runs any better. You'll have to mess around and figure out your streaming bitrate, video resolution, FPS, and encoder preset, based on your upload speed and what your computer can handle. I don't have any specific guide recommendation, but it looks like there are some setup guides out there. Making a second youtube account for testing these settings may be useful - I have one for twitch. Good luck with the setup, I'd be interested in drawing streams! :)

OBS is free software, and what most streamers use. Start a Twitch channel, everyone's doing it. But you should update the OS, not because 10 is wonderful but because 7 no longer receives security updates. At any rate, good to see a gnome gain.

I'd say Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) is pretty easy to use, and it's free. It no longer supports Windows 7, but it did at one point. I'd look for older versions of the installer on github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases?after=19.0.1 This one might work for you: github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/18.0.2
